Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data MyBizRanked (“we”, “us”) collects, why, and your rights over it. MyBizRanked is a service operated by Fixr Systems Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (the data controller). What we collect

• The business you ask us to audit — the business name, location, or Google Maps link you enter.
• Your email address — to send your audit report and, if you create an account, to identify you.
• Your audit results — the scores and recommendations we generate. These are our analysis (derived insights), not a copy of your Google listing.
• Technical data — your IP address and browser type, used to keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
• Account data (if you sign up) — your login details (held securely by our authentication provider) and your settings.

How we use it

• To run your audit and show you your results and recommendations.
• To email you your report and the tasks that matter.
• To create and run your account and free trial.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and improve it.

Our legal basis (UK GDPR)

We process your data to perform our service to you(running the audit you requested and your account), on the basis of your consent (which you give when you submit an audit or opt in to tips), and our legitimate interests in securing and improving the service. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the trusted providers that run the service on our behalf (our “processors”):

• Supabase: database and account authentication.
• Vercel: hosting, plus cookieless usage and performance analytics.
• Stripe: secure payment processing when you subscribe to a paid plan. Stripe handles your card details directly; we never see or store your full card number.
• Resend: sending your emails.
• Google: we look up public Google Business Profile information to run your audit.
• DataForSEO: provides additional public Google Maps data (such as your photo and review counts) to make your audit more accurate.
• AI providers (OpenAI/ChatGPT, Anthropic/Claude, Perplexity and Google Gemini): to check whether AI assistants mention your business.
• Cloudflare: an “are you human?” check (Turnstile) that protects the free audit from bots.
• PostHog (EU): privacy-friendly product analytics, used only if you accept analytics cookies, to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
• Google Analytics (Google): website analytics — which pages people visit and where visitors come from. Loaded only if you accept analytics cookies, with Google Consent Mode set to deny by default until you do.
• Microsoft Clarity(Microsoft): session replay and heatmaps — anonymised recordings of how visitors click and scroll, so we can see what’s useful and fix what’s confusing. Loaded only if you accept analytics cookies. Passwords and payment details are never recorded, and we mask personal details (such as your email and business name) so they aren’t captured.
• Sentry: error monitoring, so we’re alerted to and can fix technical problems.

Some providers are based outside the UK/EU; where that happens, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).

How long we keep it

• Audits that are never claimed (no account created) are automatically deleted after 90 days.
• Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted when you delete your account.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• See and export your data— from your account settings (“Export”), or by emailing us.
• Delete your account and data— from your account settings (“Delete account”), which permanently erases it.
• Correct inaccurate data, or object to or restrict processing.

If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

Essential cookieskeep you signed in and protect the site from bots (via Cloudflare Turnstile). These are always on because the service can’t work without them.

Analytics & session-replay cookies are used only if you accept them. With your consent we use privacy-friendly analytics (PostHog in the EU, and Google Analytics) and session replay (Microsoft Clarity — anonymised recordings of how visitors use the site, with personal details masked) to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. You can accept or reject these using the cookie banner, and change your mind at any time. We never use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Children

MyBizRanked is for business owners and is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy; we’ll change the “last updated” date above when we do.
